Mutton pieces are cooked in a flavourful onion-tomato gravy with aromatic masalas. It tastes best when paired with roti, naan or steamed rice.





Ingredients of Instant Pot Mutton Curry

πŸ’300 gm Mutton

πŸ’2 tbsp Oil

πŸ’1/2 cup Onion, finely chopped

πŸ’2 tsp Ginger, minced

πŸ’2 tsp Garlic, minced

πŸ’1/2 cup Tomato, chopped

πŸ’2 tsp Lemon juice

πŸ’1 tsp Jeera

πŸ’4 Black peppercorns

πŸ’1 inch Cinnamon stick

πŸ’1 Bay leaf

πŸ’1 Black cardamom

πŸ’4 Cloves

πŸ’1 tsp Haldi

πŸ’1 tsp Red chilli powder

πŸ’1 tsp Coriander powder

πŸ’1 tsp Garam masala

πŸ’to taste Salt


How to Make Instant Pot Mutton Curry

πŸ’₯First, heat the pot and add oil in it. Add the whole spices and saute for around 20 seconds.

πŸ’₯Add hari mirch, ginger, garlic and onions. Saute well. Add the spices and chopped tomatoes. Give it a nice mix.

πŸ’₯Add the mutton pieces for around 4-5 minutes. Stir well and add more water if required.

πŸ’₯Change the instant pot setting to high pressure for 20 minutes. Once done, let the pressure release. Add the lemon juice.
